Vulcan Preps for Leadership Transition

Chris Stern will retire from his role as vice president and general manager of Vulcan, effective February 16, 2024. As part of the factory’s planned transition, Meghan Hurst will assume Stern’s role effective January 1, 2024, per a company release.

Meghan Hurst headshotStern joined Vulcan in 1997, serving as director of product development and later held positions as business unit manager – ranges and vice president – marketing.

Hurst joined the company in 2014 and currently serves as vice president – sales and marketing. In addition to her current position, Hurst has held a variety of commercial roles with Vulcan, which is part of the ITW Food Equipment Group. Most recently, she was appointed to oversee the Vulcan operations in Charlotte, N.C., where she will continue to be based.
