Consolidation among foodservice equipment and supplies dealers heats up.
This caps a busy June for TriMark, who earlier this month acquired Adams Burch. “Our second acquisition in less than 30 days compliments TriMark’s presence in Southern California, extends our distribution into the San Diego and Los Angeles markets and adds depth in Texas, Florida and Arizona,” said TriMark President and CEO Jerry Hyman in a statement announcing the acquisition.
Allan Keck, the longtime president of R.W. Smith, will now serve as president of TriMark R.W. Smith.
R.W. Smith reported $101.9 million in sales for 2015, making it the 18th largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer according to FE&S’ 2016 Distribution Giants study.
