Real Mex Names New President and CEO

Robinson formerly president and COO of E-Brands. 

Real Mex Restaurants named Charles Robinson its president and chief executive officer. Robinson, who will also serve on the Real Mex board of directors, replaces interim CEO Christopher R. Thomas, who served in the post since mid-2012 and will remain on the board.

Robinson most recently served as executive vice president of food and beverage for Warner Hospitality. In this role, he helped develop, refurbish and rejuvenate restaurants for several high-profile casinos around the United States. Previously Robinson was president and COO of E-Brands Restaurants, an Orlando-based multi-concept operator of such chains as Timpano Italian Chophouses, Taqueria Canonita, and Salsa Taqueria & Tequila Bar. His background also includes serving as senior vice president of operations at Planet Hollywood and Rainforest Cafe.
