Hoffmaster Group Gets New Ownership

Metalmark Capital purchases tabletop manufacturer.

Private equity firm Kohlberg & Co. has sold Hoffmaster Group, Inc. to Metalmark Capital, LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Hoffmaster designs and manufactures decorated, premium disposable tableware such as napkins, plates, tablecovers and placemats.

Metalmark is a leading private equity firm founded in 2004 by the principals of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, with an investment focus in the North American industrial, health care and natural resource sectors.
