Tundra Specialties Acquires Katz Company

Adding design component expands the distributor's scope of service.

Tundra Specialties, a Boulder, Colo.-based restaurant equipment, supplies and parts distributor has acquired Katz Company, a Denver based design firm specializing in restaurants, hotels and resorts. The acquisition allows Tundra to provide a comprehensive collection of planning, design and project management services to foodservice operators and other members of the industry.

Owner Jeff B. Katz will take on the role of vice president of design at Tundra Specialties.
