Thirty-year pro has experience with restaurants and venture capital.

George Condos was named chief operating officer for the Arby's restaurants, a part of Arby's Restaurant Group. Condos has more than 30 years' experience working with restaurant chains.

His background includes working with Dunkin Brands, where Condos held a variety of leadership positions, including vice president of marketing, development and operations and senior vice president and brand officer.

Condos also served as chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors for Friendly's Ice Cream, leading the sale of the company to Sun Capital Partners in 2007. In 2010, he returned to a newly acquired Sun Capital portfolio company as the interim CEO and a member of the board of directors for Bar Louie Restaurants.
