Former IFMA executive becomes part of the restaurant association's membership team.
The National Restaurant Association named John Lehmann director of member engagement programs.
In his new role, Lehmann is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation and coordination of NRA's Executive Study Groups, Industry Councils, Restaurant Innovation Summit and multiple industry-wide programs. Lehmann also will conduct outreach with the Association's membership, develop relationships with key member industry leaders and grow sponsorship opportunities.
Prior to joining the National Restaurant Association, Lehmann was director of member value for the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association. He also served as senior channel marketing manager for Unilever Food Solutions and as vice president of purchasing and marketing for a California franchisee of Applebee's, Millie's Restaurants and R&M Foodservices in California.
