In the latest step in its acquisition strategy, Innovative Foodservice Group (IFG) purchased JES Restaurant Equipment, a Greenwood, S.C.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IFG was formerly known as BJ Beltram and the company came to together in May 2017 when foodservice equipment and supplies dealers B&J Food Service and Beltram Foodservice Group came together as one company under the ownership of private equity firm TriVest Partners.

The JES purchase represents IFG's second acquisition as a Trivest Partners portfolio company. In May 2018, IFG acquired Louis Wohl & Sons, a Florida-based dealership. IFG “intends to continue to pursue additional add-on opportunities to build scale and expand geographies,” per a release announcing this transaction.
