Billy Buck: RATIONAL specializes in selling one product: a combi. We make sure that we have extremely close relationships with our customers in order to manufacture a superior product that provides solutions for professional chefs’ thermal cooking tasks. Employing chefs to interact with and support our customers is the most beneficial way for us to understand their culinary needs.
Q. What advantages do the RATIONAL chefs “bring to the table”?
BB: Worldwide, RATIONAL has over 250 chefs. We are completely focused on listening to each target market to provide solutions for their operations. Our chefs tap into this wealth of global culinary knowledge, which we make available for our customers through our latest innovations, such as the SelfCooking Center®, ConnectedCooking, and Club RATIONAL.
Q. How does the RATIONAL chef team help deliver maximum benefit to your customers?
BB: Our growing team of Regional Sales Managers/Chefs, National Corporate Chef, regionally focused
Application Chefs, and more than 100 RATIONAL Certified Chefs offer the broadest support team for our customers. We are there for our customers every step of the way – from purchasing to installation to using their units effectively.
We strive to offer the best-in-class aftercare within the foodservice industry, which we call CustomerCarePlus. For example, we offer Academy RATIONAL trainings locally, which allow our customers to learn from other customers and chefs at free-of-charge seminars. Our goal is to give our customers many aftercare support channels and to insure their ROI within 12 months of joining our culinary family.
