How to Know When It’s Time to Replace Your Combi Oven

Combi ovens are complex pieces of equipment that, if treated right, can last for long periods of time. Here are four signs a combi oven might need replacing.

The service life of a combi depends on how well the unit has been maintained. If either the boiler or steam generator is not given the proper attention, the unit won’t operate efficiently.

For combi ovens that are out of warranty, here are some indications the unit might need to be replaced:

  1. Boiler failure
  2. Cavity rust
  3. Weld cracks
  4. Insufficient steam production

Malfunctions in technological components, such as the circuit board, can be pricey, and therefore cost prohibitive to fix.
