Imperial Brown Names New President FE&S FlashNews

Justin Sandall was promoted to president of Imperial Brown, a manufacturer of walk-in coolers and freezers. Sandall, who joined Imperial Brown 15 years ago, has served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Christel Jimenez has been appointed CFO. Sandall will retain COO responsibilities.

Foodservice Visits to Grow 1 Percent in 2016, Per NPD FE&S FlashNews

In 2015, the U.S. foodservice industry recovered the visits it lost during the Great Recession. It ended the year with a total traffic volume at 61 billion, with visits up 1 percent and a consumer spending gain of 3 percent compared to 2014, according to The NPD Group, a market research firm covering the foodservice industry.


Wright Becomes CEO of Famous Dave’s FE&S FlashNews

Famous Dave’s of America, a Minnesota-based barbecue concept, appointed Adam Wright to serve as chief executive officer. Wright joined Famous Dave’s as the interim CEO after the resignation of former CEO Ed Rensi in June.
