TrustHouse Services Group Buys ABL Management FE&S FlashNews

Contract foodservice provider TrustHouse Services Group acquired ABL Management, a Baton Rouge, La.-based provider of dining services to the correctional market. The deal also included ABL Educational Enterprise, which provides foodservice to the higher education markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.


MAFSI Projects 2016 Sales Increase FE&S FlashNews

The Manufacturers Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry project sales of foodservice equipment and supplies will increase 4.5 percent in 2016. This represents a 0.4 percent increase over the reps projected sales totals for 2015, according to the MAFSI Business Barometer’s third quarter report.


Manitowoc Updates Production and Logistics Capabilities FE&S FlashNews

Manitowoc Foodservice plans to transfer production of its Cleveland, Lincoln and Convotherm product lines from Ohio to three different manufacturing centers. In addition, the company plans to establish a logistics center in its Covington, Ky., warehouse.


Mohseni to Join Bob Evans FE&S FlashNews

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. named Saed Mohseni president and chief executive officer, effective January 1, 2016. He will join the company’s board of directors at that time, too.
