Captain D’s promoted Summer Sims to director of operations for the seafood-oriented restaurant chain. In her new role, Sims will oversee the operations and financial responsibilities of Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Arkansas territories.

Sims’ career at Captain D’s spans more than two decades, beginning with her first job as a guest specialist. She has since held a variety of positions the restaurant operations arena: hospitality supervisor, assistant general manager, general manager, operations standards auditor, and area director.
