Taking another step toward national expansion, The Hummus & Pita Co. hired Matt Sheppard to serve as chief operating officer for the New York-based fast casual Mediterranean concept. Sheppard’s restaurant industry background includes holding multiple senior leadership roles at McAlister’s Deli.
Hummus & Pita Co. is working with Fransmart, a franchise development company, to help drive its growth.
