Chipotle Mexican Grill entered into a partnership with Richard Blais for its Tasty Made burger restaurant. A renowned chef and James Beard-nominated cook book author, Blais plans to apply his fine-dining experience to Tasty Made’s existing menu and may expand the year-old fast-casual chain’s offerings. Currently, Tasty Made features four items: burgers, fries, shakes and sodas.
“Richard can apply his compelling vision and entrepreneurial spirit to our work in progress and oversee operations, allowing me to remain focused on continuing to grow and strengthen the Chipotle brand,” said Steve Ells, founder, chairman and CEO of Chipotle.
Blais’ other ventures include Juniper & Ivy and Crack Shack, a new chicken concept. He is past winner of “Top Chef All-Stars,” a competition on Bravo.
