Premier Equipment Group, a Georgia-based independent manufacturers’ rep firm, will add three members to its team, and expand its business and equipment lineup, effective August 1, 2017.
Tom Stritch will join Premier as a partner and the firm’s senior territory manager for North Carolina and South Carolina. Paul Remoll will serve as territory sales manager for South Carolina and the coastline of both North Carolina and South Carolina. Kristen Nygard also joins Premier, providing inside sales support as customer service for the firm’s customers in the Carolinas. Collectively, the trio will go to market as Premier Equipment Group — Carolinas.
Also, as of August 1, Premier Equipment Group will expand its representation of Vulcan, Wolf, and Berkel — which the group has represented in MAFSI region 12 for 20 years — into the Carolinas, or MAFSI region 11. Each of these brands is part of the ITW Food Equipment Group. The team’s line card also includes AmeriKooler, Earthstone, English, Somat, and Stero as represented brands in the Carolinas.
Tom comes to Premier after more than 10 years as a senior executive with Supply & Equipment Foodservice Alliance Inc. (SEFA), an Illinois-based foodservice equipment and supplies buying group. He will be based in Greenville, S.C.
Also based in Greenville, Kristen comes to Premier after five years in a quoting and customer service role with Chrane Foodservice Solutions, a Texas-based manufacturers’ rep firm.
Paul is a seasoned sales manager who comes to Premier from the medical equipment and supplies industry. He will be based in Charleston, S.C. “We are thrilled to add such a uniquely skilled group of professionals to the Premier team,” says Dan Schorr, the firm’s president. “And we are equally excited to be able to offer a strong equipment lineup to our customers in the Carolinas.
