In a move to accelerate its growth plans, multi-concept operator Disruptive Restaurant Group named Scott Kleckner senior vice president of operations. In his role, Kleckner will oversee the operations and expansion of all Disruptive Restaurant Group’s standalone restaurants globally, which include the Cleo, Katsuya, and Fi’lia concepts.
Kleckner will drive Disruptive Restaurant Group’s growth both domestically and internationally, with a focus on licensing opportunities. Expansion plans consist of nine Katsuya, five Cleo, and two Fi’lia locations by 2020 across the U.S., Bahamas, and Middle East, including United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
Prior to joining Disruptive Restaurant Group, which is a subsidiary of sbe, Kleckner was executive vice president at Patina Restaurant Group and vice president of operations, chief operating officer designate and partner of Dinosaur Restaurants.
