The Sam Tell Companies hired Steve Carlson to serve as vice president of national account sales for the Farmingdale, N.Y.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer. Carlson comes to Sam Tell from Unified Brands, where he served as director of global chain sales.
Carlson’s background includes working with such foodservice industry companies as Pepsi, Nestle, Coors and Red Bull. He also served as a technical consultant to various business initiatives and acquisitions including Ice Cream Partners USA, Gatorade/Snapple alignment and Miller-Coors.
In his new role, Carlson will look to develop the dealership’s book of business among regional and national restaurant chains.
