Lorne Deacon was promoted to vice president of sales for the Star Brands, a division of the Middleby Corporation that includes Star, Holman, Lang, and Toastmaster. He most recently served as director of brand strategy for Lang.
In his new role, Deacon becomes responsible for domestic and international sales, as well as the C-store and hospitality segments. Additionally, he will support manufacturer representatives and overall buying group strategies.
Deacon joined Middleby in 2013 as director of sales for the Midwest and Western Territories. Prior to Middleby, he spent 10 years in the banking and finance industry in Chicago.
