Condos to retire at the end of March 2015.
Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. will promote John Bowie to chief operating officer from senior vice president of operations, effective March 30, 2015. The news comes as George Condos, ARG president and chief operating officer, announced his retirement.
When Bowie assumes the role of COO on March 30, Condos will continue to serve as a consultant to Arby's through the end of the year.
Bowie, who joined Arby's in 2013, has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He was previously president of U.S. operations for Church's Chicken and has held senior operations and marketing roles with Friendly's Ice Cream Corporation and Wendy's International, Inc.
A restaurant veteran with more than 35 years of experience, Condos' background includes 20 years at Dunkin Brands and serving as CEO of Friendly's Ice Cream.
