Mirkovich-Casper Grows by Opening a Test Kitchen, Adding Two

MAFSI member firm to open a Wisconsin-based test kitchen in January 2015.

Mirkovich-Casper, an independent manufacturers’ rep firm serving Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, hired Dave DeBrot and Rob Wolfe to serve as corporate chef and sales associate, respectively. In addition, Mirkovich-Casper announced plans to open a showroom and test kitchen in Wisconsin on January 1, 2015.

A graduate of Grand Rapids Community College/Culinary Arts, DeBrot’s background includes working in such foodservice operator segments as healthcare, country clubs, hotels, fine dining and casual restaurants.

Wolfe, a seasoned industry veteran, will be based in Mirkovich-Casper’s Wisconsin territory and help open the test kitchen and training center in Waukesha, Wis. “This new facility will be of great benefit for our customers allowing them to test equipment and see products before making their purchasing decisions,” added Tim Scherer, a principal at Mirkovich-Casper.
