FSW branches out from home state.
FoodServiceWarehouse.com (FSW), an e-commerce-based foodservice equipment and supplies distributor, will locate a new distribution center in Kansas City, Mo. This represents the online dealer's first location outside its home state of Colorado.
FSW signed a 10-year lease to occupy 475,200 square feet of warehousing and distribution space in SubTropolis, a large underground business complex. The lease also includes options for FSW to grow to 792,000 square feet over the next 4 years. In addition to FSW's $1.75 million capital investment, Hunt Midwest will invest $9.25 million to retrofit and customize the space. The operation is expected to employ up to 40 people.
