Company to remain in Canada.

Franke Resupply Systems has acquired FIFO Innovation/FIFO Bottle, the Vancouver, Canada-based manufacturer of food dispensing products.

"This acquisition broadens the portfolio of products that Franke is able to offer its customers in the foodservice industry, and at the same time allows Franke access into some new markets that are served by FIFO today," said Wally Kisling, President of Franke Resupply, the operating unit that will assume the FIFO business.

FIFO will continue to operate out of its Burnaby, British Columbia, facility and will continue to be led by CEO Evian Macmillan and the current management team.

The company was founded in 2001 as a start-up that had created "first in, first out" style condiment squeeze bottles.
