Starbucks Introduces Caloric Menu Board Labeling Nationwide

The coffee chain will soon add pastry case calorie labeling, too.

Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) announced it will include calorie information on menu boards at all company-operated and licensed stores. Additionally, Starbucks will feature calorie labeling in its pastry case.

Starbucks will post calorie counts for each beverage listed on the menu boards as well as on tags in the bakery case. Each beverage calorie count is based on the standard recipe, though each will still be fully customizable. Customers can expect to see the new menu boards and pastry case displays in all stores in the U.S. beginning June 25.
