Sherwood to Lead Fazoli's Franchising Efforts

Chain just opened its first travel center unit. 

Quick-service Italian chain Fazoli's tapped Craig Sherwood to lead its nationwide franchising effort. Sherwood, who previously directed YUM! Brands' non-traditional franchise activities, most recently was responsible for franchise development at Corner Bakery Cafe.

Sherwood said Fazoli's will be targeting operators of both traditional and non-traditional locations. The chain recently opened its first travel center unit, with several others in development.
