A handful of restaurant chains continue their expansion efforts in Texas, Michigan and India.
BJ's Restaurants, Inc. (NASDAQ:BJRI) opened a restaurant in New Braunfels, Texas. The BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse seats 280 guests and measures approximately 8,500 square feet. BJ's Restaurants, Inc. owns and operates 119 casual dining restaurants under the BJ's Restaurant & Brewery, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, BJ's Pizza & Grill and BJ's Grill brand names.
Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:DFRH.OB) opened a Bagger Dave's Legendary Burger Tavern in Grandville, Mich. It is the company's seventh Bagger Dave's location.
Granite City Food & Brewery Ltd. (NASDAQ: GCFB) opened a location in Troy, Mich., its first in that state. The casual dining chain now operates 27 locations system wide. The Troy restaurant seats 300 guests and measures approximately 9,800 square feet.
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation (NYSE: KKD) signed its first development agreement in India. Under the new agreement, Bedrock Food Company is expected to open 35 stores over the next five years. The stores will be located in six states in the North region of India, which includes the cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow.
