New COO comes on board in the midst of a major growth spurt for the family restaurant chain.
Restaurant and franchise industry veteran Tyrone Counts is the new chief operating officer for Huddle House, a 24-hour family restaurant. Counts comes to Huddle House from Tim Horton's, where he served as regional operations director.
Counts joins Huddle House as the chain plans to add 135 new restaurants over the next 4 years, with the Southeast and Texas being targeted growth areas. Huddle House is also in the midst of converting existing restaurants to incorporate a new prototype design that features a signature tower entrance, plush seating and contemporary colors.
