Plymold Parent Foldcraft to acquire Waymar Companies

Company to consolidate manufacturing facilities in Bloomington, Minn.

Foldcraft Co., the parent company for the Plymold brand of furniture that is designed and manufactured for a variety of foodservice venues, has signed a letter of intent to acquire Waymar Companies brands. Waymar Companies includes two upscale furniture brands for the foodservice industry: Waymar and JH Carr.

Both Plymold and Waymar have facilities in Minnesota. And, according to a press release announcing the deal, Plymold intends to move its Bloomington offices and manufacturing to Waymar's Burnsville facility once the transaction is complete.

Additional details about the transaction, which has a target close date of October 12, were not available.
