Camp Corral

To honor disabled American veterans restaurant chain Golden Corral developed Camp Corral.
This free, week-long summer camp is available to children between 8 and 15 years old who are from families with fallen, wounded or disabled veterans or service members. This year Camp Corral will expand from one camp to a network of nine camps in eight states, accommodating more than 1,800 children — six times the number in 2011 — free
of charge. In addition to the various activities, the camp
encourages campers to create friendships and bond with other kids who share a similar family situation. Seen here, Brandon Parker of Summerville, S.C., left, enjoys a special military
