Financial services veteran joins Irving, Texas-based dealership.

Karen McCain was named the new chief financial officer for Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation, a foodservice equipment and supplies dealer based in Irving, Texas.

A 20-plus year veteran of the financial services industry, McCain comes to Strategic from Border Foods, Inc., where she held a similar position. She previously held senior financial management positions with CTI Food Holdings Co., LLC, Dean Foods, and Morningstar Foods.

In our 2011 Distribution Giants Study, FE&S estimated Strategic's 2010 sales at $224 million, placing it fourth on the magazine's list of the top 100 foodservice equipment and supplies dealers by sales volume.
