The Passing of Edward Herbst

The foodservice equipment and supplies industry mourns the founder of Edward Herbst Co.
Former MAFSI member Edward Herbst passed away on Dec. 17, 2011. He was 91 years old.
Herbst, who founded the Edward Herbst Co. in Illinois, is survived by his children, Kathleen, Thomas (Susan), Janice and Linda; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W Olive St., Arlington Heights, IL 60004 or Harbor House, 760 McHenry Road, Wheeling, IL 60090.
A funeral took place Dec. 22.
