Ken Calwell to take the helm

Papa Murphy's International promoted company President Ken Calwell to CEO, effective December 31, 2011. Current CEO John Barr will remain the chain's chairman of the board.

Calwell joined Papa Murphy's in June 2011, bringing with him more than 20 years of leadership experience at large quick service restaurant chains, most recently as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of research and development at Wendy's. He has held leadership positions at Domino's Pizza and Pizza Hut.
