Legacy Companies Acquires Blakeslee

The Legacy Companies, a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based manufacturer and exporter of commercial foodservice equipment, retail appliances and kitchen utensils, has acquired Chicago-based Blakeslee, a Chicago-based manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment.

Founded in 1880, Blakeslee's product line includes flight-type, rack-type and door-type warewahers; undercounter dishwashers; glass washers; pot and utensil washers; silver/stainless steel burnishers; planetary mixers; vegetable peelers and slicers.
