Avanti Restaurant Solutions, a Sacramento, Calif.-based dealership tapped 18-year foodservice industry veteran Shelley Spear to lead its new Irvine location. In her new role, Spear will lead Avanti's business development efforts with Southern California-based chains.
Spear, who joined Avanti in June of this year, previously served as a vice president of TriMark Robert Clark.
Avanti reported 2010 revenues of $8.51 million, placing it among the top 100 foodservice equipment and supplies dealers in the country according to FE&S' 2011 Distribution Giants study.
