Cracker Barrel Updates Senior Management

Cochran and Woodhouse continue to climb the restaurant chain's corporate ladder.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. (NASDAQ:CBRL) announced that Sandra Cochran will become the company's president and chief executive officer, effective Sept. 12. At that time she will also join the restaurant chain's board of directors.

Cochran has been Cracker Barrel's president and chief operating officer since Nov. 2010. She joined the company in April 2009 as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Michael Woodhouse, Cracker Barrel's current chairman and CEO, will become executive chairman once Cochran becomes CEO. Woodhouse has been chairman of the board since Nov. 2004 and CEO since Aug. 2001. He joined the restaurant chain in 1995 as a senior vice president and CFO.
