Garland Appoints Smithers to Director of Customer Service as Kostick Retires

Bill Smithers was appointed director of customer service at Garland, a Manitowoc Foodservice company. Smithers replaces the retiring Dale Kostick.

Kostick has been with Garland for more than 33 years and has served in various leadership positions including vice president of finance and vice president and general manager of Garland Ovens.

Smithers joined Garland five years ago and his previous work experience includes serving as manager of international service market development at GE Transport Systems and as vice president of after sales service with Camco (a subsidiary of GE).

In his new role, Smithers is responsible for global customer and aftermarket service.
