Buehler Resigns as Kona Grill President and CEO

Marc Buehler, president and chief executive officer of Kona Grill (NASDAQ: KONA) has resigned. The company appointed Michael Nahkunst, a member of Kona Grill's board of directors, interim president and CEO.
Nahkunst will continue to serve as president and CEO until a permanent successor has been identified and appointed. Nahkunst has more than 35 years of restaurant experience, including serving as the chief operating officer of both The Cheesecake Factory (NASDAQ: CAKE) and BJ's Restaurants (NASDAQ:BJRI). Previously, Nahkunst held various senior level positions with Brinker International, the parent of Chili's restaurant group. Nahkunst is a principal of Bailiwick Capital Partners, a strategic corporate development and financial advisory firm specializing in the restaurant industry.
