Five restaurant chains announced expansion news.

Beef 'O' Brady's, the 220-unit franchise of family sports pubs & restaurants, signed its first Northwest franchise agreement in Nampa, Idaho.

California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (CPK) (NASDAQ: CPKI), opened its second restaurant in India. This location was opened by CPK franchise partner JSMGGC India Pvt. Ltd., a joint-venture between Mumbai-based JSM Corporation and Dubai-based Gourmet Gulf Company.

Cold Stone Creamery signed franchisees to introduce its concept to the following three countries: Singapore, Cyprus and Brazil.

Hurricane Grill & Wings signed seven new domestic development agreements, adding commitments for 233 new restaurants to its 42 existing locations.

Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, a New England-based restaurant and lounge, announced plans to open a location in Livingston, N.J., its first in that state, in May.
