Veteran Service Agent and Son Buy Vanco

Indianpolis-based Vanco, a commercial foodservice equipment service agency, is under new ownership.

Father and son team Gary and Jeremy Allen have purchased Vanco, a 40 year old Indianapolis-based provider of parts and repairs for commercial foodservice and refrigeration equipment.

Gary previously spent 27 years as an owner of Commercial Parts & Service, a multi-state foodservice equipment repair company that was acquired by Ecolab in late 2001. He has been involved in commercial real estate and other business interests since. Jeremy spent the last six years as a project manager in the electrical contracting field and before that worked part time at Commercial Parts while still a student at Purdue University.

Vanco provides complete facility maintenance for foodservice operators, having recently added HVAC repair and PM services to its historic strengths in refrigeration, cooking, and installation services.
