Casual dining chain California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (CPK) (Nasdaq:CPKI), opened its third location in Dubai with franchise partner, Gourmet Gulf Company.
Texas-based Dickey's Barbecue opened a new location in Austin, Texas.
In a deal with an estimated value of $27 million, DineEquity, Inc. (NYSE:DIN - News), parent company of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar and IHOP Restaurants, agreed to sell 30 company-operated Applebee's restaurants in the Washington, D.C. market to Potomac Family Dining Group.
