Bill Byrne Joins Kittredge as Dealer's COO

Kittredge Equipment Company, an Agawam, Mass.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership, has tapped Bill Byrne to serve as its chief operating officer. Byrne's diverse foodservice industry background spans 30 years and includes experience with Hobart, Edward Don, Southbend, Blodgett, and for the last fourteen years heading up The EDI Marketing Group, a foodservice equipment and supplies buying group.

Byrne reports to Wendy Webber, owner, Arthur Grodd, and the rest of the board of directors for this full-service foodservice equipment and supplies dealership. In his new role, Byrne also has a seat on Kittredge's board and his responsibilities include sales, marketing, purchasing, merchandising, operations, financial management, and overall executive management.

In 2009, Kittredge recorded sales of $25.18 million, placing it 45th on FE&S' 2010 Distribution Giants List.
