BJ's, Carl's Jr., Charley's Grilled Subs, Energy Kitchen, Krispy Kreme and Pizza Inn all opened new locations.

BJ's Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq:BJRI) opened a restaurant in Sparks, Nevada. This marks the 100th location systemwide for BJ's.

Carl's Jr. opened it's a dual-branded Green Burrito location in Anaheim, Calif. This marks the 500th Carl's Jr.-Green Burrito dual branded location.

Charley's Grilled Subs, a Philly Steak Sandwich concept, opened a location in Santo Domingo, its first in the Dominican Republic.

Energy Kitchen, a Manhattan-based fast-casual chain with a health-centric menu, signed an area development agreement for three restaurants in Fairfield County, Conn.

Franchisee KDN Company Limited has opened the first Krispy Kreme doughnut shop in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Pizza Inn (Nasdaq:PZZI) opened a location in the Lebanon, Tenn., market. The franchise agreement places a Pizza Inn location in a Flash Market Convenience store.
