Illinois Tool Works Inc. acquires Elro Group

Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW) acquired Elro Group, a Switzerland-based manufacturer of thermal foodservice equipment. Elro will continue to operate as a separate business as part of ITW's Food Equipment Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Elro Group's product line includes such items as kettles, range systems and combi ovens.
