California Pizza Kitchen appointed Jim Hyatt to serve as its CEO. He replaces G.J. Hart, who retired.
Hyatt comes to CPK from Ruby Tuesday, where he also served as CEO. At the request of the Ruby Tuesday Board, Hyatt led the company through a successful take-private transaction that closed this past December.
His background also includes working in leadership positions for such restaurant chains as Church’s Chicken, Cosi and Burger King.
