Preferred Marketing Group added Fred Macdonald to its outside sales team. Macdonald will serve as a business development representative in the California-based independent manufacturers’ rep firm’s San Diego office.

In his new role, Macdonald will work with dealers and consultants, with a strong focus on end-users, in the Imperial, San Diego and San Bernardino counties.

Macdonald brings with him more than 30 years of experience hotel and restaurant experience in both the U.S. and Canada. His background includes working as a chef, general manager and operations manager.
