Standex Refrigeration Brands Update Sales Leadership

Master-Bilt hired Chris Karssiens to serve as vice president of sales and updated its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. In addition, Nor-Lake named Chris Reeves vice president of sales, effective May 18, 2017. Both companies are part of the Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group.

In his new role, Karssiens becomes responsible for sales funnel management, key account planning and 80/20 business processes. Karssiens has been in the foodservice industry his entire career, including the last 18 years with Enodis, Manitowoc and Welbilt.

Reeves will succeed Barb Belongia, who had previously announced her plans to retire in December 2017. In his new role, Reeves will provide leadership and direction to the Nor-Lake sales organization, including sales funnel management, key account planning, and channel management.

Reeves has been in the foodservice industry for 25 years, serving the last two as senior vice president with Excell Marketing and Procurement, a dealer-based foodservice equipment and supplies buying group. Prior to joining Excell, Reeves spent five years as western region sales manager for Nor-Lake.

Master-Bilt added M2 Foodservice Representatives LLC to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. M2 Reps will represent Master-Bilt in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware, also known as MAFSI Region 4.
