Berkshire Partners buys into the Illinois-based parts distributor.

Boston-based investment firm Berkshire Partners has made an investment in Parts Town, an Addison, Ill.-based distributor of replacement parts for foodservice equipment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Summit Partners, which made an investment in the company three years ago, will remain an investor in Parts Town, per a release announcing the deal.

Earlier this year, Parts Town acquired Whaley Foodservice, a South Carolina-based company that services foodservice equipment.
