Katie Scherping was named interim president and CEO for Quiznos. Her appointment follows the resignation of Doug Pendergast from the same position.
Scherping most recently served as Quiznos CFO. She joined Quiznos in December 2013.
Pendergast, who joined Quiznos in January 2015, is leaving the quick-service restaurant chain to spend more time with his family, according to a release announcing this management transition.
