AHF Recognizes A Quartet of Foodservice Professionals

Reeves and Watson earn the Presidential Special Service Award.

The Association for Healthcare Foodservice Operators recognized the contributions of four foodservice professionals with several special awards. Specifically, Elizabeth Yesford of Providence Hospital received AHF’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Yesford AHF AwRDElizabeth Yesford accepts award from AHF.The Lifetime Achievement award recognizes operator members of AHF who best exemplify the leadership and spirit of Jacques Bloch and Angelo Gagliano, the founders of our legacy organizations. This award is selected by past recipients of the legacy association top honors and AHF Lifetime Achievement Award winners.

Yesford has been in the healthcare foodservice industry for 37 years. Yesford’s career with Providence Hospital began 25 years ago. She has been employed by Providence Hospital in various roles to include director, food and nutrition; senior director, EVS, food & nutrition & laundry and assistant administrator in charge of support services at Carroll Manor.

In addition, David Reeves of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare in Elmhurst, Ill., and Laura Watson, Intermountain Healthcare, Provo, Utah, received the Presidential Special Service Award.

Tood G AHF AwardTodd Griffith accepts award from AHF.And Todd Griffith of Alto-Shaam received the Making a Difference Award, which the association presents to business partners and members of the media. The AHF Industry Advisory Board Chair selects this award recipient, which the organization presents in honor of John Cabot.

Griffith has worked for Alto-Shaam’s corporate sales and marketing team for more than a decade. Todd’s professional background encompasses more than 25 years of experience in the foodservice industry operations, marketing and sales management. Griffith has been a member of AHF and its legacy organizations for 10 years.
