Former Waymar executive joins the Minnesota foodservice equipment dealer’s staff in a development role.
Premier Restaurant Equipment, a Minneapolis-based foodservice designer and equipment dealer, named industry veteran Bill Ziegler vice president of business development.
Prior to taking this position with Premier Restaurant Equipment, Ziegler served on the dealer’s board of directors, crafting business plans and supporting the organization in other capacities. No stranger to the foodservice industry, Ziegler previously spent 23 years with Waymar Industries, which was acquired by Foldcraft in the fall of 2012.
“I am enjoying being back and connecting with everyone. We have an ambitious business plan in front of us,” Ziegler said. “We are known for being involved with large, complex and high-profile projects in our own market and we are looking to take that on the road.”
Premier Restaurant Equipment works with a variety of operator segments, including restaurants, casinos, colleges and universities, and home meal replacement/grocery stores and healthcare/assisted living. This news comes shortly after Minneapolis-based private equity group Hillcrest Capital Partners made a significant ownership investment Premier Restaurant Equipment.
